Medications handled by the specialty pharmacy include oral, inhaled, injected and infused drugs, and they often require complex care, a high level of support and specific guidelines for shipment and storage. If you are prescribed a specialty drug, please call the Specialty Drug Program at 1-888-346-3731. A member of the Specialty Drug Pharmacy team will assist you with the transition to ensure your specialty drugs are received without interruption. Your doctor can also fill out the Specialty Medication Order Form.

Medicare works best with your Service Benefit Plan coverage when Medicare Part A and Part B (also known as Original Medicare) are your primary coverage. That means Medicare pays for your service first, and then we pay our portion. Usually if you’re retired, Medicare is primary. If you’re still actively working, we’re your primary coverage.
